The Department of Children and Families is pleased to announce the 2024 Florida Children and Families Summit. Each year, the Summit offers a great opportunity for stakeholders to come together, share best practices, and make key connections to ensure the best outcomes for our state’s children and families.

Since its inception in 1997, the Summit has grown and evolved in lock step with Floridians’ needs, and it is well known amongst Florida’s child welfare professionals as a premier training event. The Department is proud to continue offering the robust child welfare workshops participants expect and appreciate, along with a greater focus on behavioral health. Substance abuse and mental health disorders significantly impact families’ ability to thrive, which is why the behavioral health footprint in Florida’s system of care has been continually expanded.

The Department has been diligent in creating a well-rounded agenda, complete with a wide variety of workshop choices and inspiring keynote speakers, designed to provide value to all participants.
