Hope Florida - A Pathway to Prosperity
Spearheaded by First Lady Casey DeSantis and implemented by the Florida Department of Children and Families, Hope Florida utilizes Hope Navigators to guide Floridians on an individualized path to prosperity, economic self-sufficiency and hope by focusing on community collaboration between the private sector, faith-based community, nonprofits and government entities to break down traditional community silos, in an effort to maximize resources and uncover opportunities

Continue the Mission
Launched in June 2022 by First Lady Casey DeSantis, Continue the Mission aims to actively recruit veterans, military spouses, and former law enforcement officers who still have a desire to serve their communities. Children and families in crisis need reliable support from strong, compassionate, and skilled individuals who will fight to help ensure their safety – attributes that our military and law enforcement agencies instill.

Homelessness
Homeless persons are those who lack a fixed, regular, and adequate nighttime residence, or those living in shelters and temporary housing, or public and private places not designed for sleeping accommodations (e.g. on the street, in cars, in parks, etc.). While many are individuals alone, others are couples, families with children, or unaccompanied youth.

Adult Protective Services
Florida law requires the reporting of known or suspected abuse, neglect, exploitation or self-neglect of vulnerable adults (elderly or disabled).

Domestic Violence
The Office of Domestic Violence is responsible for providing oversight on the administration of state and federally-funded initiatives designed to intervene and prevent domestic violence and support survivors and their families.

Human Trafficking
Children can be victims of human trafficking regardless of their citizenship, residency, or alien or immigrant status. In Florida reports can be made to the Florida abuse hotline.
