Policy Concerning Contraband
Because we are a secure Center, and because we want to protect the safety of all the people at NFETC there are some things that are prohibited from being on the grounds of the Center. A large sign on the entrance road reminds visitors of these items. These are alcoholic beverages (beer, wine, whiskey), firearms (handguns, shotguns, rifles), and illegal drugs such as marijuana and cocaine.
We are also conscious of safety in the Visitor's Lounge so we ask that visitors leave the following items in their car or in a locker in the lobby:
- Aerosol containers
- Butane Lighters
- Cameras
- Glass or metal objects
- Knives or fingernail clippers
- Maps
- Matches
- Prescription Drugs
- Recording equipment
- Ropes
- Tobacco products
If there are questions about any items that visitors may have with them please ask a staff person for advice and assistance.
