Emergency Financial Assistance Program (EFAHP)
EFAHP Program Closes
After many years of service, the Emergency Financial Assistance for Housing Program (EFAHP) has been repealed and replaced with a homeless prevention grant to local agencies. We are no longer accepting applications for help with overdue rent, mortgage payments or security deposits.
Please call the following organizations for a list of agencies in your area that might be able to help, or you may call the 211 helpline (just dial 211):
- Jewish Family Services
- Catholic Charities
- Lutheran Social Services
- The Salvation Army
- The United Way
