How to use your EBT Card at a Point-of-Sale (POS) or ATM Machine

Electronic Benefits Transfer LogoBefore you shop, check your last receipt or call EBT Customer Service to find out your account balance(s) by:

  • Logging on to: https://ucard.chase.com/siteTransitionEbt.html .

  • Calling the EBT Customer Service number (1-888-356-3281) on the back of your card. After you enter you sixteen (16) digit EBT card number you will hear your current balance(s).

    Note: If you did not hear the balance or need the balance repeated press the number one (1).

  • Follow the instructions provided on the POS/ATM screen.

  • Wait for your receipt. Check your receipt to make sure the amount is the same amount you spent. If the receipt is wrong, tell the cashier right away.

  • Keep your receipt so you will know your balance before you shop the next time.

  • Put your card in a safe place.
