Department of Children and Families and Community Based Care of Central Florida Let Foster Youth Know That
'It CAN Be Done'

The Florida Department of Children and Families (DCF) #itCANbedone campaign aims to empower, develop and encourage foster youth and youth who have aged-out of care to have confidence in themselves, share their successes and be more marketable in a changing workforce. Community Based Care of Central Florida (CBCCFL), organizations, businesses and individuals around the state are coming together to support Florida’s youth and provide opportunities for them to succeed. We encourage foster youth, child welfare professionals, businesses, mentors, and everyone who wants to show “It CAN Be Done” to post images and videos on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook with the hashtag #itCANbedone.

  • When:
    Friday, February 6th at 3:30pm. There will be interview opportunities approximately thirty minutes prior and immediately following the press conference in the spare room behind the main room.

    Goodwill Industries of Central Florida, Corporate Offices located in the Center Building 7531 S. Orange Blossom Trail, Orlando, FL 32809
    The Press Conference will be held in the Media Center with press availability in the Board Room.

    Make a difference! Spread the word for foster youth to share their successes and receive the cultural, emotional and social support necessary to become empowered to enter our community as courageous, productive adult.
