DCF Secretary Wilkins to give “Progress Report on Florida’s Children” at Florida Children and Youth Cabinet Meeting
WHO: Department of Children and Families Secretary David Wilkins, chairman of the Florida Children and Youth Cabinet
WHAT: Secretary Wilkins will be providing a “Progress Report on Florida’s Children.” Topics will include improvements to the child welfare system, fostering initiative, adoption success, education funding, improvements in early learning, prevention efforts, human trafficking and more. The Children and Youth Cabinet will be meeting to hear updates related to children and youth from several other state agencies and Cabinet work groups.
WHEN: Children and Youth Cabinet meeting, Thursday, July 26 from 8 a.m.-12 p.m. Central Time (9 a.m.-1 p.m. Eastern)
“Progress Report on Florida’s Children” will start at approximately 11 a.m.
