Designed to increase partnerships and strengthen outreach and education in the field of human trafficking, this forum will offer training and educational assistance to law enforcement, lawyers, healthcare & social service providers, teachers, religious institutions, students and the community at large on issues related to the crime of human trafficking for what it is-A Violation of Human Rights.

Through a multidisciplinary approach, the forum objectives are to train and educate by providing effective tools to increase awareness of human trafficking, identify and protect human trafficking victims and develop strategies to prevent and successfully combat this crime.

Day 1 – October 18, 2012 will focus on training service providers in healthcare, education, social & religious services and other professionals as well as advocates, volunteers, students and the public at large.

Day 2 – October 19, 2012 will focus on training first responders in law enforcement, federal agencies, firefighters, criminal justice and the legal profession.
