Every three years, as the designated agent of funding for the Department of Justice (DOJ), Office on Violence Against Women (OVW), STOP Grant - (Services, Training, Officers and Prosecutors), requires the Department of Children and Families, Office of Child Welfare, to compile input from law enforcement, prosecution, judicial, Native American tribal organizations, and non-profit victim service providers in order to develop a service array that will meet the needs of professionals working with victims of sexual assault, domestic violence, stalking and dating violence. This process is referred to as the three year statewide STOP Implementation Plan, which in part requires a statewide meeting. This will be DCF's 4th such meeting since 2006.
