Pinwheels in the Park

Prevent Child Abuse Florida, the Florida Department of Children and Families and more than a dozen of our partners in prevention invite you, your family and your friends to attend Pinwheels in the Park. This free public event will be held at E. Peck Greene Park in Downtown Tallahassee (intersection of Park Ave. and Duval St., across from the Downtown Library) on Saturday, April 5, 2014 from 9 AM to Noon.

Human Trafficking Awareness Seminar

A student at Lawton Chiles High School has received a grant from ANNpower to hold a human trafficking awareness seminar.

Please join us for a screening of the eye-opening documentary, "Call and Response," followed by a panel discussion on human trafficking with community leaders.

You will also have an opportunity to learn about human trafficking in different industries and take action by signing a petition and writing letters to non-fair trade companies.

"The Light Will Triumph"

"The Light Will Triumph", a seven week small group study against human trafficking hosted by Hyde Park United Methodist Church. Our first session will be Monday, Jan. 27 at 7 p.m.

Our seven sessions will be using The White Umbrella:  Walking with Survivors of Sex Trafficking by Mary Frances Bowley.
