Tri-County Human Trafficking Response Team presentation of Human Trafficking Awareness proclamation

On behalf of the Tri-County Human Trafficking Response Team, I cordially invite you to attend the Citrus County Board of County Commissioner's Meeting held at 1:20 PM, January 14, 2014, at the Citrus County Courthouse, 110 N. Apopka Avenue, Room 100, Inverness, for presentation of our Human Trafficking Awareness proclamation. We are hoping for a large turnout to make a visual impact and to show appreciation to the Citrus County Board for their support. Thank you for all that you do!

Choosing to Participate: The Power of Civic Engagement Opening Program and Reception

 

Artwork by foster youth in the Florida Youth Leadership Academy (FYLA)  will be featured in this exhibit which explores the cohice between being a participating upstander or a passive bystander in our communities. It also highlights civic organizations that encourage Florida students to create positive social change.

4:30pm-6:00pm

5:30pm-7:30pm

Conference by the Bay: Partners In Progress

“Conference by the Bay: Partners in Progress” brings together more than 300 leaders of child welfare, faith communities, law enforcement and many others to talk about how we can work together to empower our local children and families and set them on a path to success. The conference will present several opportunities for meaningful collaboration that will truly change lives and strengthen our community.
