Tampa 2014 World Refugee Day Commemoration

The theme for the event is The Journey and interactive educational displays will be set up to depict the refugee experience including a replica of refugee camp. In addition, there will be a cultural festival with displays from Iraq, Former Burma, Cuba, Ethiopia, Iran and many other countries. The program will include live music, dancing, a cultural fashion show and an original reading of a poem written for World Refugee Day by James Tokley, the Hillsborough County Poet Laureate.

Child's Mental Health Awareness Day 2014

The Early Childhood Mental Health System of Care we would like to invite you to join us this Thursday, May 8th at 1:00 pm outside of the Big Bend Community Based Care office in Washington Co. to recognize Child's Mental Health Awareness Day 2014.    A Rose bush will be planted at BBCBC in order to raise awareness about the importance of focusing on every child's mental health and that mental health is essential to a child's healthy development starting at birth. 

GNO & Bunco Event

GNO & Bunco is the annual fundraiser for Life Management Center's Healthy Families program. The Girls Night Out event will feature a fashion show, vendors, cash bar, and the popular Bunco dice game.

Tri-County Human Trafficking Response Team presentation of Human Trafficking Awareness proclamation

On behalf of the Tri-County Human Trafficking Response Team, I cordially invite you to attend the Citrus County Board of County Commissioner's Meeting held at 1:20 PM, January 14, 2014, at the Citrus County Courthouse, 110 N. Apopka Avenue, Room 100, Inverness, for presentation of our Human Trafficking Awareness proclamation.
