GFWC Deltona Woman's Club will be passing out educational materials and selling pinwheels to raise awareness in Deltona, Florida at a city wide market event.

We will be providing educational materials in English and Spanish to families in the community and selling pinwheels to raise awareness for this cause.

This free and family-friendly celebration is geared to learn how child abuse can be prevented.

Early Childhood Children’s Fun Festival & Pinwheels for Prevention® - Taylor County

Everyone is invited to the annual Early Childhood Children’s Fun Festival & Pinwheels for Prevention® there will be fun, prizes and refreshments for all ages.

This is a FREE event.

Each year in Taylor County, early childhood service providers use the venue of the Children’s Fun Festival to bring parents out to educate them on the services available in the community.

In tandem with fun activities for children, parents are afforded the opportunity for education on community resources and given information that supports the theme of early childhood development.

Second Annual Healthy Smart Day - Jefferson County

Community-wide screening event, namely the Second Annual Healthy Smart Day. Community service providers will be engaging parents of children ages 6 months to age 5 by providing a screening event to detect developmental delays, health and dental concerns, and provide educational material to parents on a variety of early childhood topics and services, including caregiver resource packets. The theme will be focused on April as Child Abuse Prevention month and the pinwheel garden will be prominent.
