On Saturday, October 10, 2015, at 9 a.m., the Orange County Domestic Violence Task Force will hold its annual awareness event and walk in Harbor Park (located in the lakefront area of Baldwin Park at the end of New Broad Street) located at 4990 New Broad Street.
The purpose of the event is to share resources to assist in eliminating abuse in our community. It is also a time where we remember and honor those who have lost their lives as victims of domestic violence.
This Symposium is one of the State of Florida’s premier events bringing together leaders of faith, child welfare, juvenile justice, and others to talk about how we work together to empower Florida’s children and families and set them on a path to success.
This must attend event is being held in collaboration with the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice, the Florida Department of Children and Families and their partner, the Florida Faith-Based and Community-Based Advisory Council.
