Training for Excellence

Ensuring that our lawyers are well-trained and competent litigators is a top priority for the CLS Leadership. Statewide Training Director Stephen Pennypacker leads litigation skills training for CLS lawyers.

Training is a year-round task, including seminares on legal sufficiency, trial preparation, courtroom skills, medication issues, and ethics. CLS aslo produced a trial advocacy guide and a curriculum for new attorneys, providing a strong foundation for ongoing excellence in advocacy.
